On 21-2-12 I made these sheets and passed them out. Not a lot happened. I still had some lying here and pass them on now and then. Suddently on facebook they revived. Especially this version:
“E” from France started adding on one and published it on some Facebook groups. It was piched up by the Mail-Art network on Facebook, and started to be added and passed on to. It resulted in lots of versions which are now circulating and are being added too. I started to collect them now, and probably make a video from that to show the diversity of such a Facebook wave….
Whenever I get the chance I make some new VIP’s (Visual Impulse Poetry) just to catch the thought that was on my mind. It takes some time to dry for them since they are made with acrylic paint and indian ink. But I like the results…..
If you watch long enough you will find the thought. Maybe you choose another word as I wrote down, but that is all part of these works.
In the year 2014 these envelopes went out. The proces is a complicated one.
- First the envelopes are painted with coloured dots. Each colour needs to dry before the next one comes.
- The address and postage stamps are added
- Some special rubberstamps are added
- The letters are added to the side, and because they are two sided the backside is also marked with these words
