Historic TAM-Bulletins

On a website that documents Audiocassettes, I also found the covers of my old TAM-Bulletins. In those days (the 80-ies) I worked with audiocassettes a lot, and in the TAM-Bulletin I also mentioned those details. Seems it comes from the Archive of Klaus Groh. Below the covers. Brain Cell #1000 from Ryosuke Cohen – Japan

Today a large enveloppe from Ryosuke Cohen (Japan) arrived. In it was the collection of BrainCells #980 till #1000 and with it all namelists of those series. I received before from Ryosuke Cohen such sets. They are very interesting for archives and reearchers, so I am very happy with this wonderful gift from Ryosuke Cohen. He did a wonderful work with this project he started in 1985, and in 2017 the series is alreacy 1000 sheets with messages from the globe.

On the cover is a part of the #1000 Brain Cell. I recognize the stamp prints I sent him, and it feels good to be part of this collection. But the whole project itself is more interesting then the individual cells. So many connections and communications were needed to get this done. Also interesting details on how this started in 1985. Some mail-artists are still alive and kicking. Some are dead and some countries even vanished from the postal systems…….

And the formal 1000th issue arrived a few days later in a seperate enveloppe:

Incoming from Richard Canard – USA (sep 2017)

A fine card again from Richard Canard who send his cards on a regular basis. This time also mentioning Trashpo.I agree with Richard, we keep on doing Mail-Art without knowing why….. I made the photo’s of his card right outside the Postal Office (actually a copy shop wher PostNL has a place for input and output). The neighbors are an Art-Gallery, and that gives some nice effects to this mail-art card for sure.
