Mail from Miss Noma – UK

Again mail from Miss Noma in UK. This time the envelope shows another identity, and that ths the name of Arthur Cravan Jr.

2015-11-21 12.39.37 2015-11-21 12.39.52

The statement is obvious Arthur Cravan is NOT a mail-artist , but a Post-Artist. And what to expect in the enveloppe. When I opened it I discoverd there were again envelopes in it all addressed to me but with slightly different names:

2015-11-21 14.33.15

Nine to be precise. Also a special number with quite some symbolic to it. I already opened one of the envelopes and discoverd the empty stampsheets for the TAM Rubberstamp Archive seem to have been returned:

2015-11-21 14.38.13 2015-11-21 14.38.24

Will open the other envelopes tomorrow. Already documented all the envelopes front-side and backside, since there is a lot of play on them as well with names and rubberstamps. Will see what is hidden inside the envelopes…….

Mail from Richard C. – USA

2015-11-21 12.39.16

A new card from Richard C (Canard) in USA from 8-11-2015. It travelled fast across the ocean and now goes onloine and visits the world. Yes, Mail-Art has become a strage artform where communication can go fast in any direction in digital form while a piece of carton still takes its time, and can be photographed in the centre of Breda to be placed online.

Mail from Mike Dyar – USA

Last week an interesting parcel from Mike Dyar arrived with in it an object that deserves some attention.

2015-11-14 09.06.27

The backside of the parcel receils some details already. A.M. Fine and Ray Johnson, and Mike himself looking for the next question. The mail-interview with Mike Dyar (see on this blog at:

http://iuoma.org/blog_new_2015/2015/06/22/mail-interview-with-mike-dyar-usa/

Was never finished and published when I ended the project.

2015-11-14 09.06.34

Above the front cover of the parcel. Typical style of Mike, and I am off course curious on what the content will be,

2015-11-14 09.06.40 2015-11-14 09.06.52 2015-11-14 09.07.01

Inside an object carefully wrapen with a paper that reads: CLEVERNESS – “Don’t you think Mr. Ray E. Johnson would enjoy a perfect vacation,  through the end of this Cosmic Epoch ? “- A.M. Fine

Mike also wondered as to what the next question was. Since he is not on Internet, I will print out that question and will thank him for the sending. Also the backside reveils an explenation to this object and that reveals the story behind this.

Thank you Mike Dyar. Always a pleasure to receive your deep thoughts and generosity.

Welcome to the Pataphysics

2015-11-07 13.12.10

Being a pataphysician is quite an experience. Time to share it through a foam rubber stamp made with the letters.

2015-11-07 13.17.18

And a first print of the new made rubber stamp goes out to Miss Noma in Liverpool – UK. A special envelope with some of my typical mail-art styles.  Included lots of special things, that is not documented with photos.

2015-11-07 15.59.59

The spiral was made some decades ago. The special square one too. the concept of IUOMA fits in this world of pataphysics. The connections are made.

Who is MISS NOMA?

2015-10-26 16.29.04

This drawing is lying to dry now. Tomorrow it will be ready to be scanned and it is finished. The drawing deals with “Who is MISS NOMA”.  Mail from Liverpool, and obviously connections to the USA correspondence network.

This drawing is part of the VIP (Visual Impuls Poetry), but I’ll make sure that Miss Noma gets a copy for sure.

This text can be read clearly, and you will notice the O in connection is missing. Yes, we are missing something here……

Mail from Miss Noma – UK

2015-10-10 11.04.27

Mail from Miss Noma came in today. A reply to a letter I sent to the UK last week.  In it some very interesting copy-art in which my letter was used as a background with one of Rocola’s original rubberstamps on it.  It is number 3 of 30 it reads.

2015-10-10 11.05.27

Off course I got my own rubberstamp from Rocola from the TAM-Archive, and I see I have number 5 of 30. So where are the other 29?  Seems Miss Norma has one of them, and that means it is connected to this specific bull…..

2015-10-10 11.05.37 2015-10-10 11.05.45

For the new observers I made some new photos of the front and back-side of the Bull.  Are we still in contact with all these mail-artists?

A very special gift from Rocola (USA)…..
