In the year 2014 these envelopes went out. The proces is a complicated one. First the envelopes are painted with coloured dots. Each colour needs to dry before the next one comes. The address and postage stamps are added Some special rubberstamps are added The letters are added to the side, and because they are two sided the backside is also marked with these words

In 2003 I was still living in Tilburg. I was painting envelopes on a daily basis, and sent thousands into the network. I made photo’s of all of them, lateron digitized them with a scanner. Mail to Amy Irwen – USA
Two envelopes with poster sized copies of my drawings were sent to Amy Irwen. Seems they arrived since she published them on a blog at http://iuoma-network.ning.com/ , The IUOMA network, where you can read her reaction. The envelopes are part of the faces series, where two faces look different of same ways, as symbol of the network where there is always a sender and a receiver.
