FAKE-Ism ; The ISM to fake an artform. When you want to belong into a specific group by faking the techniques and motives that belong to that specific ISM. Applied this to mail-art for a few years but never published gthe documents I made in 1998 and 1999.
To make the right photo, I had to hold this card by Richard Carard (USA) in the sun to let it shine like it should…. Thank you Richard for sharing these thoughts again.

In 2017 I got these catalogs of Mail-Art project in the mail. Above a project done by the Stickerdude (Joel Cohen) in NY – USA, and below two catalogs that Uli Grohmann (Germany) did. Although a lot goes digital thee days, the hardcopies are still my favorites. You can go through the pages, and digitize them, but the booklet will survive the times for sure whuile the digital images go.. Read More
