New drawings in 2017

Making drawings in 2017 seems to continue. In the first week I have some time for myself and in that I already started to work on several new ones. Also finished some old ones and published them on the artists portfolio I have online:

Also the first drawing started and finished in this month January is now there for you to see:

Like usual you can see many faces in my drawings, and they are all connected…..

Word Rubberstamps in the TAM-Archive

2016-12-03-12-11-15

I have these lovely sets of wordstamps in the TAM Rubberstamp Archive. Ocasionally I use them to play with on my outgoing mail-art. The stamps are cheap, and self-inkting. Each set has 3 words. They were on sale so I bought a few years ago. Still enjoy them every time I use them.

A tree for Guido Vermeulen – Belgium

2016-11-02-08-04-46

This morning I took this photo of a tree I pass nearly every day. The leaves are now almost gone as novembver has started. A photo to remember Guido Vermeulen in Belgium and I will post the photo there too:

A group started by Guido Vermeulen himself, and after his death the IUOMA-members keep publishing trees there to keep his memories alive.

Robin C rozier did a project where he asked people from the network to share a memory of a specific day and return it to him. In return you would get the memory of someone else. I have tried to collect soms of the memories back, and have saved them in digital form (see above). Also I collect the originals, and have documented my collection on:

https://www.facebook.com/memorandommemory/

Some originals are in someone’s elses collection, and I only have a B&W xerox of it. The dates and memories are now scattered arround the globe. But it all fits together in a big large network that was active in the last decades when Robin Crozier was doing this project.
