Queens Library Gallery : Transmit These are the invitation and the first pages of a catalogue of the exhibition TRANSMIT held in 1999 at the Queens Library Gallery in New York. The theme: Fluxus, Mail-Art, Networks.
Lots of brochures where published in a digital way (also printed and sent out) when the Internet took over. Just click on the image to get a full sized view. The brochures deal with some specific themes on the subjects of Mail-Art, Networking and Fluxus.
Some more Fluxus Words envelopes went out this week. More details about this project you can find on: http://fluxuswords.blogspot.nl/ The envelopes went out to Heleen de Vaan (Netherlands) and Mars Tokyo (USA) and visualize some new words that got alive today.
Four new Fluxus words were painted on envelopes. They are now sent out to some active mail/artists, so they will find the word quite soon. A letter to Richard C (Canard). Writing letters with a 3D Pen takes time and with such a 3D Pen you actually create an object that you can send. So that way, it is a performance or a score to write a letter with a 3D pen. Sent a sample to the USA in an envelope, and here is how that looks like.

Three outgoing envelopes with in it colour copies (double sided) of the received Fluxus Rubberstamp Sheets from John M. Bennett (USA), Lancillotto Bellini (Italy) and R.F. Cote (Canada).
