FAKE-Ism ; The ISM to fake an artform. When you want to belong into a specific group by faking the techniques and motives that belong to that specific ISM. Applied this to mail-art for a few years but never published gthe documents I made in 1998 and 1999.
Backing up all the data op a laptop is becoming quite a task. It seems there are over 200,000 files on the laptop that need to be saved. In 2002 I sent this TAM logo to Guy Bleus in Belgium. The logo was used for years as a sjabloon for ink spraying (envelopes, artworks, etc….) . The logo was sent like this, so no enveloppe, also to test the mailing system, and also because it is always fun to send out objects.
In the 80-ies I was experimenting with selfmade artistamps. Tried them on envelopes and let them run through the system. Seems the system worked quite well.
